LATIN HORROR is proud to team up once again with New York's premiere Latino film showcase to sponsor the films and filmmakers participating as part of the festival's "On The Edge" venue, featuring some of the best genre & pulp films playing anywhere.

Launched in 1999, the New York International Latino Film Festival (NYILFF) is now the premier Urban Latino film event in the country and showcases the works of the hottest emerging Latino filmmaking talent in the U.S. and Latin America. NYILFF is the only film event to have had the endorsement of the Mayor's NYC Latin Media and Entertainment Commission since its formation in 2003.

Melanie is a reclusive young woman who copes with the recent suicide of her mother by constructing a life-size doll to keep her company. At first the doll, called Mor, appears to be a harmless novelty. But as Melanie’s grasp on reality slips away, she begins to project her mother’s voice onto Mor and the delusional relationship becomes more and more antagonistic and bizarrely co-dependent.

When Melanie meets and connects with the handsome Dukken, it seems a ray of light has entered her life. Until Mor convinces Melanie that she must kill Dukken.
